Lincoln Painting and Decorating Ltd started in October 2021 after Martyn left residential lettings and saw a gap in the market for reliable, professional decorating services. He built the business on strong customer service, attention to detail, and professionalism.
By October 2022, the company had grown to six team members and won its first Three Best Rated award in Lincoln.
In October 2023, the business expanded further, launched a brochure campaign to local businesses and schools, took on larger projects, and won the same award for the second year in a row.
By October 2024, the team had grown to eight, improved its systems and marketing, became headline sponsor for the New Theatre Royal and breakfast sponsor for LCR FM, and won the award for the third consecutive year.
In October 2025, the company grew to 15 staff, invested in training, software, and better processes to improve client experience, and won the Three Best Rated award for the fourth year running.
