Jo & Sparky
Jo and Sparky kicked things off, and it didn’t take long before Sparky started showing signs he’s turning into his dad… turning up in walking boots just to “break them in.” A dangerous road.
The conversation then turned to unnecessary baby gadgets after Jo revealed her nephew has a baby wipe warmer. Essential parenting tool or completely over the top? Listeners had plenty to say.
And for the Lincs Link, things went intergalactic with a theme of space.
John Marshall’s Show
Later on, John picked things up with a bit of local nostalgia. Earlier this week he announced Bobby Davro is coming to Stack in Lincoln on Friday 16th October as part of Magna presents Lincoln Laughs, and that led to this brilliant throwback to the Ritz on Lincoln High Street.
The Ritz might now be a bar, but back in the day it hosted some huge names – including Bobby Davro himself back in March 1986.
Looking ahead to Friday, John will be joined by Jez from Mower Magic as his lunchtime co-host. Expect stories about building a successful business, world travels and plenty of great music.
