This week's guessing game is all about the price tags on items from the Harrods Christmas Department. Each day I'm revealing a selection of festive bits and pieces, and you have to guess the combined total. Today's trio was a Musical Christmas Train Ornament, a Circus Carousel Tree Decoration, and a set of six Tartan Christmas Crackers. The actual total came to £198, and our very own Lucy from the Magna team had a go and guessed £152. Not bad, Lucy, but our listener Julie in Skegness absolutely nailed it, guessing £195. That's almost spot on, Julie, well done.
Over to Topical Tune, and today's story was a cracker. An English village has voted to leave the UK and govern themselves, and I asked you to send in the song that best sums it up. The suggestions were brilliant. Pete in Ruislip, who I should mention is the drummer from Scouting For Girls, went with Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way, and that took the top spot. Fiona in Brigg, Gary in Lincoln, Karl in Mablethorpe, and John in Horncastle all chipped in with brilliant choices too.
Tomorrow there are more Harrods items to price up, so have a think overnight about what those Christmas baubles and bits might be setting people back. It could be more than you think.
