Found It was the game this morning, and the idea is simple. Every question has a real numerical answer, and your job is to add them all up. Today we had the year the first tank was built and tested right here in Lincoln, the number of clock faces on Big Ben, and how many State Rooms there are at Buckingham Palace. The total came to 1,938, and it's fair to say that caught a few people out.
Olivia from the Magna team was in the studio with me and Lucy today, and she was the closest guesser in the building with 1,922. Among the listeners, nobody landed exactly on 1,938, but Shazza in Wragby and Wendy Woo in Lincoln were just one away, which is seriously impressive.
Then it was time for Topical Tune, where I share a story in the news and you send in the song that best fits it. Today's story was a report listing seven bad habits that are apparently ruining the country, everything from pyjamas in the supermarket to forgetting your pleases and thank you. The suggestions came flying in. Emma went for Ed Sheeran's Bad Habits, Gary in Scampton picked Dido's Thank You, Tracy in Lincoln went for Roxette's Dressed For Success, Charlie in Branston chose Beautiful South's Everybody's Talking, and Gemma in Mablethorpe topped the lot with Aretha Franklin's Respect. Hard to argue with any of them, really.
