At Magna Radio, being part of the community means shining a light on the people and organisations that make a real difference locally. One upcoming event at RAF Waddington does exactly that, bringing together members of the armed forces past and present for a meaningful and informal gathering.
On Saturday 26 April 2026, members of the Gainsborough Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club will be welcomed into the Officers’ Mess at RAF Waddington for a special breakfast event. The morning will see veterans, serving personnel and their families come together in a relaxed setting, offering a chance to share stories, build connections and strengthen the sense of community that exists across Lincolnshire.
The visit, organised by Steven Robinson, is part of a series of successful breakfasts that have already proven popular with attendees. These events are designed to provide a supportive and social environment, particularly for veterans, while also encouraging interaction with those currently serving in the military.
Guests will arrive from 9:00am, with breakfast served in the Officers’ Mess from 9:30am through to late morning. Alongside the meal, there will be opportunities for conversation and photographs, helping to capture the spirit of the occasion.
RAF Waddington has long played an important role in the region, and events like this highlight the strong relationship between the station and the wider community. Opening the doors of the Officers’ Mess to local veterans and armed forces groups is a simple but powerful way of recognising that connection.
