With a weekend trip to London coming up, John admitted he’s reached the stage of relying on “emergency clothes” before going away.

Rob Hammond will be stepping in for John this Friday.

Meanwhile, Co-Host Friday is being paused for a couple of weeks while John is away. Friday 22nd’s shows will also come live from Air Ambulance HQ.

Looking ahead to May 29th, John will be joined from 12pm–1pm by Mark Steele, lead singer of popular local cover band Stolen Fridays.

Topical Tune: “KITT Car Caught”

Today’s Topical Tune was inspired by a bizarre story involving KITT, the iconic black car from 1980s TV series Knight Rider.

The vehicle was reportedly issued with a speeding ticket in New York – despite being kept on display in a museum in Illinois for several years.

Museum staff insist the car has not moved from the exhibit in years.
