Father Christmas joins Lincoln Castle Illuminated for the first time
The castle's festive light trail runs from 20 November to 23 December, with new installations and a first-ever visit from Father Christmas.

Lincoln Castle Illuminated returns from 20 November to 23 December, with new light installations created especially for the castle and, for the first time, appearances from Father Christmas.
Festive favourites are back too, including the Christmas Express, fairground rides and seasonal food and drink. Some evenings will be dog friendly.
The full Medieval Wall Walk is closed this year for conservation work, but visitors can upgrade their ticket to walk a section of it, with views over the Cathedral and the lights below.
Cllr Natalie Oliver, executive councillor for culture, said record numbers came last year and some nights sold out, so families should book early. Tickets are available from lincolncastle.com.
