North Kesteven District Council is running free talks on staying safe online as part of the national Get Online Week, from 19 to 25 October.
Sessions are taking place at:
- Sleaford Digital Hub, Mosaic Youth Hub, Riverside Shopping Centre: Tuesday 20 October, 10.30am, on help available at the Banking Hub
- Osbournby Village Hall: Tuesday 20 October, 1pm, on spotting scams and fraud
- Metheringham Library and Community Hub: Wednesday 21 October, 10.30am, an informal chat about staying safe online
- Waddington Community Hub: Thursday 22 October, 1pm, on scams and fraud
Cllr Sally Tarry said people who can't get online, or lack confidence, can find everyday life much harder, so the sessions are a chance to build skills and bust some myths.
