Freiston Road, Boston

Drivers in Boston should plan ahead, as Freiston Road is being fully rebuilt from Monday 26 October for up to three weeks.

The works run from the Spilsby Road junction to the Church Road and Vauxhall Road junction. In the first week, the road will be closed from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. In weeks two and three, closures will be from 9am to 3pm.

The signed diversion is via Church Road, Skirbeck Road, South End and the A16. Residents and emergency services will be able to get through throughout.

Around 1,300 tonnes of material will go into the scheme, which is part of a £12 million county council programme on Lincolnshire's most important roads. Local councillor Cllr Sam French thanked people for their patience while the work is done.
