Who we are

This website is run by FAB Radio Ltd, trading as Magna Radio (company number 16686215), Think Tank Building, Ruston Way, Lincoln, LN6 7FL. Email hello@magnaradio.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email address, the topic and your message, so we can reply. If you tick the box, we'll also send you Magna news, events and offers.
• Competition entries: your name, email address, phone number and town (optional), and your answer, so we can run the competition and contact the winner. Where a competition is run with a partner, its terms will say if your details are shared with them.
• Firm Favourites and School of the Week: your name, email address, phone number (optional), workplace or school, town and what you tell us, so we can arrange your time on air.
• Newsletter: your email address, so we can send you the Magna newsletter. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe, or email us and we'll remove you.
• Advertising enquiries: your name, business, email address, phone number, budget and interests, so our sales team can call you back.
• Team accounts: the email address of Magna staff who sign in to manage the website.
• Website analytics: only if you accept on the cookie banner, we measure how the site is used (pages visited, device type, rough location). This is anonymous and doesn't identify you.

We don't sell your personal information.

Our lawful basis

We use your information to reply to you and to run competitions you enter (legitimate interests and taking steps you've asked for), and to send marketing only where you've opted in (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Where it's stored

Website content and the information you send us is stored by Supabase in the UK (London) the website is hosted by Vercel, and emails about your messages are sent to our team through Resend. These companies act on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages and advertising enquiries for up to 2 years, and competition entries for 6 months after the competition closes (longer for winners where needed, for example to deliver a prize). Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. After that they're deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email hello@magnaradio.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
