50th Anniversary Concert

Celebrating 50 Years of Song in Lincoln 7.30pm St Nicholas Church, Newport

A stirring program of music from Bach, Monteverdi, Stanford, Finzi, Britten and more. Featuring 5 string players from the London music schools and local group, the 1685. We also welcome the return of organist Adam Chillingworth.

The choir was formed in 1976 and first performed the following year at Bishop Greaves hall in, what was then, Bishop Grosseteste teacher training college.

To mark this incredible musical legacy, the choir have been reflecting on decades of performance, and on friendship and community service - as all choirs take hard work by dedicated volunteers.

Tickets £10 on the door or available in advance by emailing: tickets@lincoln-chorale.org
