I'm probably best known as the morning show presenter at Trent FM in Nottingham during the nineties. I've worked all over the UK and been heard across the East Midlands on Gem 106 and the West Midlands on Free Radio. I've also appeared on Trax FM, Gold, Chiltern FM among others. I was launch programme manager for Juice 107.6 in Brighton. More recently I've been working in television as an archive producer behind the scenes at ITV.
My presenting style is friendly, down to earth. My interests outside radio are tinkering with electronics, playing the guitar and I professionally trained as an actor. It was my love and knowledge of music that led me into radio back in the late 80s
My ancestral roots go a long way back in Lincolnshire. Originally from Normandy, the Disney family's local home was Norton Disney. Am I related to Walt? Maybe, but I didn't inherit any of his money!
Founder of Magna Radio, Tom Priestley created the station with a clear aim to bring great music, local voices and proper community radio back to Lincolnshire. Passionate about the county and its people, Tom is proud to be building a station made for the area it serves.
